Direct and indirect employment opportunities will vary across the life of the mine in terms of numbers and skills required. GoviEx has a policy to employ 100% Zambians where practicable and is committed to sourcing labour as close to the Project as possible. It is estimated that around 300 skilled and semi-skilled jobs will be created during the life of operations, with substantially more temporary positions during construction. Additionally the project will also generate further indirect jobs both during construction as well as the operation phases of the mine.

Location: Located in southern Zambia, 200 km south of Lusaka near Lake Kariba.
The Project is an advanced-stage development project located in the Gweembe, Siavonga and Chirundu Districts in the southeastern region of Zambia, within the highly prospective Karoo Supergroup confined by the Basement rocks. The Project is 100% owned by Atomic Eagle, and it encompasses four mining licences – Muntanga, Dibbwi and Chirundu and Kariba Valley, which with a total combined area of 1,100 km². The licences are located approximately 200 km south of Lusaka, north of Lake Kariba. Additionally, the Company holds two exploration licences for Nabbanda and Chirundu Extension. The project offers a rare combination of scale, resource definition, infrastructure access, and exploration upside. The project comprises multiple uranium deposits hosted within shallow geological formations, allowing for low-cost open-pit mining with heap leach processing.
